# Liquify export — Investments

English field reference for the Investments JSON download. This file is for your own analysis tools; Liquify does not import it back.

## Top-level keys

| Key             | Meaning                                             |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| `schemaVersion` | Investments download format version.                |
| `exportedAt`    | UTC timestamp when the file was written (ISO-8601). |
| `budgetId`      | Budget these groups belong to.                      |
| `budgetName`    | Budget display name.                                |
| `baseCurrency`  | Budget base currency.                               |
| `groups`        | Array of investment groups (not legacy `sources`).  |

## Group (`groups[]`)

| Key                | Meaning                                                |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| `groupKey`         | Stable group id (often prefixed `manual:` or `bank:`). |
| `name`             | Display name.                                          |
| `kind`             | Origin: `manual` or `bank`.                            |
| `institutionLabel` | Optional institution label.                            |
| `totalsByCurrency` | Optional map of currency code → total balance.         |
| `holdings`         | Array of holding lines in this group.                  |

## Holding (`holdings[]`)

| `investmentId` | Holding id.                                  |
| `name`         | Display name.                                |
| `balance`      | Current value.                               |
| `currency`     | Currency of `balance`.                       |
| `type`         | Optional holding type.                       |
| `subtype`      | Optional subtype.                            |
| `quantity`     | Optional quantity / units.                   |
| `unitValue`    | Optional price per unit.                     |
| `amount`       | Optional raw amount field from the provider. |
| `code`         | Optional ticker / code.                      |
| `isin`         | Optional ISIN.                               |
| `syncedAt`     | Optional last sync time (UTC ISO-8601).      |
