Overview
Use an API token when your client is Other in Connections → MCP: Cursor, Claude Desktop, and similar MCP clients that paste a URL plus a token. Prefer OAuth for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
- Open Connections → API tokens.
- Create a token (name it, then copy the secret in the dialog — it is shown once).
- Configure the client with:
URL: https://api.getliquify.com/v1/mcp
Authorization: Bearer <token>
You can have up to 10 active tokens. Revoke unused tokens in the app to free a slot. The same token also works with the Tools API for scripts and HTTP clients.
API token clients do not appear under Connected apps (that list is OAuth only). Rename or revoke tokens on Connections → API tokens.
Ultra lapse pauses API tokens (they stop working until Ultra returns). The list stays visible so you can revoke; create requires Ultra again.
