Overview
Plan your month ahead: set take-home income, split it into purpose boxes, and spend from the accounts (or wallets) you set aside for each one. You can reopen the in-app tutorial anytime under Settings → Help.
First steps
- Create a budget and set monthly income (Edit Budget → Income). Pick a refill day—when you fund boxes again each month.
- Add boxes for the jobs money has this month: rent, groceries, savings, subscriptions, goals.
- Add expenses inside boxes for dated bills and subscriptions—or set a fixed monthly Amount / Goal on the box when that fits better. Details: Expenses.
- Fund until Remaining is about zero. On Plan, Income − Expenses = Remaining. Split leftover into boxes so every cent has a purpose. Green means you are not over-allocated; red means you planned more than income.
- Spend from the matching place. Link a box to a bank account, cash, card, or crypto when you want Accounts to compare plan vs reality—or keep it simple with one active spending box while other boxes hold savings and goals.
Start simple if you need to. In many places everyday spending lives on one card, so one active box paired with that account is enough at first. Split wants and needs across accounts or subaccounts when you are ready.
