Overview
When you set a payment date on an expense, Liquify can send one inbox message and one push notification on that date (delivery time is configurable in Settings → Notifications).
Plan date vs bank posting
The date follows your plan—not when the bank may actually process the charge. Weekends and public holidays often delay settlement, so the reminder can arrive before the money leaves your account.
Dating expenses also helps Transactions Analysis match planned expenses to bank charges when the box is linked to an account.
In the app
Set the payment / anchor date on the expense. Turn payment-day reminders off entirely in Settings → Notifications, or change delivery time there.
